  • Exhibition "Ar(t)ler Alm - Die Katz Im Wald" LASERKATZ - "Die Katz Im Wald"

    Saturday, 7th of July, 2012
    Ar(t)zler Alm, Innsbruck

    Presstext:

The Katz goes thicket! At the 7th of July, Katzfans have to bushwhack from the Hungerburg above Innsbruck via the forest trail to the Ar(t)zler Alm! This time, the journey is its own reward. 4 stops will tell you about the creators but not show you the exhibits. The further you´re willing to go, the more you´ll find out about what´s waiting for you in the finish.

Beside the stunning work of Ephemer, Emanuel Jesse, Simon Prades and Paul Riedmüller, you´ll further be rewarded with finest grilled meat and the required liquids - So stay brave, bring your boots and some appetite!

Thought, the finish is the end? Wrong conclusion! Cats are invited to the Afteralm Party at Aftershave Cub! From 10pm on, Mr. Saund will start to rumble and turn the basement into a filthy Rock´n Roll desaster area! At 00:00, our special guest "The White Miles" will give the first ever live Gig at Aftershave and deflower the club with their dirty pole dance stoner blues rock! And for the rest of the night, his Rock´n Roll highness Joko / Oh… No! is milking the pigeon until it get´s sour!

Stay Katz and get down and dirty!

  • The "KatzShirt" The "KatzShirt"

As you maybe noticed - Cat´s wear this fabulous fur coat, that never get´s out of fashion. To make sure you look great as well, but not do our friends any harm, we created the KatzShirt!

The shirts for this slick piece of textile are AnvilOrganic® Tee´s (NYC). They are made from 100% Organic Cotton jersey and have the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate.

They come with shoulder-to-shoulder tape seamed collarette and a double-needle stitching on sleeve and bottom. The print in the front is a two-layered silk screen printing, made in sweaty handcraft on a damn hot summer day! The labels are hostile PVC with a hostile message. Kate... How could you!? They´ve been fixed by the incredible sewing machine skills of the mum of all mum´s - Thaler´s mum! Handcraft again. Thx again.

Kitties go blue and white on yellow. Tomcats go white and blue on black. Girls shirts are just availabe in Small, the boys get spoiled with Medium and Large. Drop us a line if you want one - We´re looking forward to hear from you!

Big up for our models, the gorgeous Mara Rhomberg and the handsome Mr. Acs. Thanks for looking in the bright light but not going there!

    Stay Katz!

  • The "Katzbag" for EASTPAK Artist Studio "Eastpak Artist Studio"

Eastpak asked the Laserkatz Artspace to participate in the Eastpak Artist Studio, an annual opportunity for international Designers to transform a basic Eastpak Backpack into a unique piece of art.

Laserkatz Artspace in cooperation with austrian fashion designer Lisa Walde created the "KatzBag", a still wearable backpack, which looks like the Laserkatz and even has red flashing lasereyes!

The Eastbags will be shown at Bread & Butter 2012 in Berlin and in the according book.

  • The "Laserbag" The "Laserbag"

Cat´s are our friends. But they´re wild animals as well. So let the good times roll, but be aware that you´re playing with fire if you underestimate one of those furry cuties. For the unlikely situation of an assault, the LASERKATZ ARTSPACE created a special safety-gear, that once could save you from getting mauled.

To not provocate those mini-tigers living right among us, we disguised it as a simple, plane carrier bag made from cotton wool. It has diverse silk-screen logo-prints on it, comes with an embroidered label and is pretty handy in everyday situations.

Actually it is a high-tech textile helmet with which you can cover your face within seconds by just pulling it over your head and tighten it with the handles on it´s side - See last picture.

    Safety first - Stay Katz!
